"No matter how paranoid or conspiracy-minded you are, what the government is actually doing is worse than you imagine." - - - William Blum

I'm glad this happened in my lifetime rather than my children's. It took the election of a black President to jumpstart it. But now I clearly see that Republicans represent pretty much all that is wrong with our country. The racism, hatred, arrogance, outright lying, killing (see Tiller), prejudice, bigotry, intolerance, narrow-mindedness and injustice seems today to be coming almost exclusively from this shrinking group of white thugs.

Anyone with any sense of decency would not dare associate themselves with Republicans.

I classify them as a sub-species. There is no other explanation.

I call out everyone of my family members to disassociate themselves with this behavior. They continually make excuses... I tell them, "Until you call out your own party for this racism, bigorty and hatred you're no better."
That gets them pissed off... especially my sister who is the Grandmother of my 2 half-black nephews.

I haven't seen too many "racists" out there, although that sure seems to dominate the Democrat talking points these days.

Most of the people I know are worried about the costs and ultimate health-care rationing. That's what would happen when your doctors, nurses, medical offices, hospitals, and drug companies suddenly had 47 million new caseloads to work with.

Econ 1A: Supply and Demand. Not a tough concept to grasp. Add 47 mil in patients without increasing the infrastructure, and it's very obvious what will happen.

Muckpuppy: Except that all those doctors and nurses working the ERs that are seeing all your uninsured vitims of Republican politics, racism and injustice could now see those same patients in doctors' offices and clinics. There's no shortage. I actually work for a hospital ER and know what's happening, so don't give me your Republican crap. You are patently uninformed and ignorant.
