Then, Lieberman thinks Weightman's replacement, Lt. Gen. Kevin Kiley is a good thing! Showing what a true imbecile he is. Lt. Gen. Kevin Kiley, the current Army surgeon general and a former commander of Walter Reed is largely responsible for the mess at Walter Reed. Rep. Louise Slaughter has asked the Pentagon for his immediate removal.
Now, Kiley and Weightman have to testify before the National Security Sub-Committee headed by Rep. Henry Waxman.
Of course Kiley's appointment is seen as demoralizing to hospital staff.
Finally, something not related to Walter Reed but to just cry about. "The tragic story of Army Sgt. William "B.J." Beardsley , who died Monday in Diwaniyah, Iraq, 80 miles south of Baghdad, after a roadside bomb went off near his vehicle. The 25-year-old soldier had re-enlisted, in part, for the health insurance to cover his wife's medical bills. He died the day she left the hospital."
