Weekend Bits

Today's bits are, for the most part, quite depressing. We go from the worldwide and permanent contamination of all living things by depleted uranium, to the monetary collapse of the American economy, the neocon infection of the World Bank, the approachng end of petroleum-based life as we know it, and finally to the prediction of how the human species will barely survive all the above, but in a vastly different civilization.
