Dean and Key Issues; The DLC

Another analysis of Dean's questionable platform, courtesy Maxspeak. Snippet:

You might argue that Dean platform will evolve, that it's early. I don't think so. Campaigns don't have a lot of time for chin-scratching over policy proposals. What you start with is what you're going to stick with, by and large. How you govern is another question. In the end, the best choice may come down to Dean. But we're a long way from there. I would argue that talking up progressive issues will do more to help Dean and all the other Democrats than reciting the litany of Dean's yuppie social liberalism.
