The West Wing Flies South

What happened to The West Wing? It once was one of the finest shows on TV. The acting was first-rate, and it never succumbed to compromise when touching politically and socially hot topics. Now it dances around tough issues like Tinkerbell on ecstasy. Rather than challenging us viewers to decipher the complexities of the issues, it now bludgeons us repeatedly until we scream, "Okay, we got it!" What a pity. Did Aaron Sorkin really make that much of a difference?
