Some thoughts about this week and stuff:

The Palin Bounce is over.

Our Republican "smaller government is better" Administration has just socialized the largest investment and insurance companies.

Not only is the Republican ticket of Palin/McCain not campaigning on factual issues, but their comments about Obama, in all their speeches, interviews and press releases, are virtually void of any truths.

Pigs don't look good in lipstick, but Palin does.

Tina Fey does a better impersonation of Palin than does Palin.

A few days ago McCain did not know the leader or location of Spain. It's the country that keeps its rain on the plain, dummy!

The MSM is totally avoiding any mention of the fact that Obama, being black, is going to find it very difficult to win this election because of the rampant, underlying racism present in our society.

Most California drivers are ignoring the new "no cell phones while driving" law. I see that the CHP and local police don't care about enforcing the law either.

I am SO looking forward to the Palin/Biden debate.

I still can't figure out, after eight years, if Bush is stupid and a manipulated sock puppet, or is smart, evil and shrewd.

If you've sneaked a peek at your quarterly 401K report, then you're braver than me.

Now that we've straddled our kids with tens of thousands of dollars each of federal debt that they will need to pay back with higher taxes, I'm not thinking that they will be feeling obliged to take us in when we become older and feebler.

If Obama was a true progressive, he would, in his first term, slash the military budget in half, immediately reinstate habeas corpus, shut down all military detention facilities created under Bush, retract every one of Bush's decrees and executive orders, and apologize to the world for the way we've arrogantly and mortally run roughshod over it for the past eight years. And somehow we need to provide retribution to each and every Iraqi citizen for accusing them of 9/11 and destroying their country's infrastructure for no good reason.

Finally, don't forget that today is Talk Like A Pirate Day

If I were a republican, I would be insulted to have not one, but both candidates on my parties ticket that have both been or currently are the subject of an investigation regarding ethics violations and the misuse of power.

When I saw Sarah Palin on FOX being interviewed by Sean Hannity, I was surprised to see that she has taken up lying for herself and now on John McCains behalf when she tried to say that what McCain meant by the "fundamentals of the economy" were the people, the workforce and not the ecomomy itself. This bold-face lying goes well beyond putting lipstick on a pig. This is more like putting rosery beads on a whore.

That's what I think

I wouldn't insult whores by equating them with Republicans.
