If the number of Iraqi deaths is decreasing, as the Right keeps insisting, then it's because there are fewer Iraqis at risk of dying. Since March 2003 when the country's population was 24 million, over one million Iraqis have been killed and nearly two million have fled the country, both as a result of our invasion and occupation. So I guess that's one way of reducing the ongoing number of deaths.
