Buzz-kill Mike here. Something bad is going to happen very soon. I can sense it.

Bush-war is getting backed into a corner by Congress. The Russians have already noted, based on intelligence, that they expect us to attack Iran in a few weeks. Tie those two things together...

The U.S. economy is teetering on the edge of a meltdown due to the ongoing massive collapse of the housing market, along with our astronomical international debt.

The Weather Bureau is predicting a very active hurricane season this year, and this is in conjunction with a badly depleted National Guard.

The so-called Democratic Congress, after two months, has yet to confront Bush-war with any legislation that reigns in his self-created abusive and unconstitutional powers. And he's scheduled to be around for another 22 months.

Plus, there hasn't been a significant earthquake here in So. Cal. in about 15 years, so that the underground stress in the local fracture zones, you just know, is building up to dangerous levels. We are not prepared to respond in kind.

Bird flu virus is just hanging out on the fringes, waiting for the inevitable opportunity to mutate into a deadly form. The Department of Homeland Security is responsible for handling the epidemic here. May I remind you of New Orleans?

And, finally, the elephant in the room? We are waaaaay overdue for a much-deserved terrorist attack within our borders.

The only solution to any of this is an immediate and massive revolution in the streets to force our government to stop fucking around and start taking care of the business of the people.

Since the last item will never really happen, I'd say that it's time to put our affairs in order. Liquidate your assets, stock up on canned food and water and batteries, and for god's sake get some protection. Your next-door Republican neighbor isn't going to treat you civilly when all hell brakes loose.

(Of course, I hope I'm wrong about all this, but really, open your eyes, folks. We've been headin' down this course for six years now and we're accellerating, not stopping.)
