In spite of all the words you read and hear about the Iraq War, there are only two things you truly need to know:
1. The Bush Administration illegally used our military to gain control of the oil resources of the region for their own friends.
2. The only good solution for all the rest of the parties in this debacle is for all U.S. troops, contractors, advisors, diplomats and corporate profiteers to pack their bags and come home. Today.
There's nothing more to do, in spite of all the dire warnings by "experts" of the consequences of leaving so suddenly. Screw them all. They are the ones who advised us of the dire consequences of NOT invading, so their advice is as valuable as elephant droppings.
The Iraqis wanted us out yesterday, the soldiers wanted to come home yesterday, and the rest of the world wanted us to take our Ugly American fingers off the pulse of the region yesterday.
So let's leave today; better late than never. Better today than tomorrow.
