Most polls coming out now show Bush's approval rating in the '30s. He's unable to recover from the Katrina debacle. He's lost control of Iraq. The Dems are threatening censure. The Abramoff scandal is inching closer to the White House. Cheney can't shoot straight. Medicare prescription plan is a big fuckup. Illegal NSA spying exposé won't go away. He's losing control of his party and his coattails. He's hated by 95% of the world's citizens. His NCLB is leaving many behind. His lack of leadership with respect towards N/S Korea, South America, Iran and others is undercutting the U.S.'s influence in world politics. His administration has had to ask Congress to increase the debt ceiling by over two trillion dollars.
The slow-learning American voters, who are starting to catch on to the evil doings of the Bush-war petroleum/military/industrial cabal, need to be forced back into their couches, cowering in fear, watching events unfold on the highly filtered CNN and FoxNews channels. Who agrees with me in my prediction that the time is ripe for a diversion, such as a new military venture (like attacking Iran) or looking the other way again from another terrorist atack on American soil, in order to silence the fomenting outrage?
