Pres 2008: First dKos presidential straw poll by kos |
I'll take Edwards, at this point. He's faithful to his party, a damn-hard campaigner, smart, articulate, believes in fairness and justice, and treats Americans as more than slaves to the corporate elite.
He's not a Progressive, of course, but at this point in our American political history any Progressive candidate won't have a bat's chance in hell of winning. It might work in California (and even New York), yet most of the remaining states just won't tolerate such radicalism.
We start digging ourselves out of this moral and political hellhole by either taking to the streets and revolting, or slowly weaning our hypnotized-into-conservative-numbness public off the sadistic teat of the neocon-flavored koolaid dispenser.
