Iraq's cost to California
In my state (California) the Iraq War has cost $19.5 Billion so far, or $550 per resident. If, instead of invading Iraq, the Bush Administration had given this money directly to the state, we Californians would not only have no budget deficit, we would have lower college tuition, more teachers, better government funding/reimbursement for healthcare, better-repaired highways, and fewer dead residents (killed in Iraq).
