O'Neal Gone

As a Lakers fan for literally decades, it is disappointing to see Shaq leave. In my opinion if owner Jerry Buss had kept the team and coach together for next season, with Malone recovered from his injury and with all the players having more experience playing together, next season would have probably been a championship year. (Of course, with the recent passing of Chick Hearn, the team may be hard-pressed to win a title ever again.) Whether or not Kobe returns or goes to the Clippers, the Lakers are now only a mediocre team at best (thanks a lot, Mr. Buss, for f***ing up the only sports team that I follow(ed)). Won't it be interesting if Shaq and Kobe end up facing each other in next year's NBA finals?!
