How Bad is Bad?

I guess what Left is Right finds fascinating is not that Bush's approval rating (percent that rated his job performance good or excellent) has dropped to 45%, but that 45% of America believes that he is doing a good to excellent job. Just how low are these peoples' standards? Exactly how much worse a job can Bush do before these people start thinking that his job performance is not up to par?
