From the Washington Post: The number of troops wounded in action in Iraq is now more than twice that of the Persian Gulf War in 1991.
Of course this says nothing about the tens of thousands of Iraqis killed or injured during this time. Unfortunately this data is just not being properly recorded. You can be assured that the information above grossly underrepresents the actual figures, since many non-combat deaths and injuries of American servicemen have not been reported since March 21. Left is Right asks Mr. Bush: Just how far are you willing to go with the slaughter of young Americans at the profit of Halliburton, Bechtel and all those oil companies who have you in their pockets? Even the really stupid Americans who fell for your pre-war guise and who believed that Iraq caused 9-11 are going to come to their senses one of these days. Or, you may run into one of your disillusioned, trigger-happy former supporters who lost his/her son/daughter in Iraq and who might pull a "Reagan". If so, they might even wait until Cheney is standing right behind you. Left is Right is not supporting such a violent action, but saying "You'd better watch your back."
