"No matter how paranoid or conspiracy-minded you are, what the government is actually doing is worse than you imagine." - - - William Blum

So, here's where we stand today:

1. Every justification Bush used, since 2002, for invading Iraq has been proven to be questionable at best, and fabricated at worst.

2. The military equipment and weapons found in Iraq since March 20, 2003 are no more dangerous than what one might find in a sweep of South-Central Los Angeles.

3. Between 6,000 and 8,000 (and possibly many more) Iraqi civilians have been murdered as a direct result of the US invasion. Tens of thousands of Iraqi soldiers have been slaughtered by the US military. Hundreds of American, British and other soldiers have died in Iraq since the March 20 invasion.

4. Much of Iraq lay in ruins, with massive unemployment, rampant crime, starvation, rape, sickness, lack of clean water and electricity, all a result of the US invasion.

5. The US has lost much of its international credibility which will take years, if not decades, to rebuild.

And that's not even mentioning our domestic problems. How can 50+ percent of the American public believe that Bush has done a great job since March 20?
