Standardized Testing Revisited
I previously commented briefly on standardized testing in schools, and included this insightful opinion with additional comments here. One of my children will be taking such tests in just a few weeks, the results of which will have a profound impact on his future via his qualifications for admission into a highly reputable high school that bases its admission requirements SOLELY on test results. The National Center for Fair & Open Testing thoroughly examines the value, validity and consequences of standardized tests and their information should be required reading of any parent of a school-aged kid. Judge for yourself.
