The Prius-Conservative Connection

Well, I never figured I'd agree with a staunch Conservative (Grover Norquist) about anything, but here we have his Americans for Tax Reform commending manufacturers of hybrid cars. Of course, ATR's reason for their support (easing of CAFÉ standards), and my reasons for recently purchasing one (a Toyota Prius - need I say more?) are totally different. Plus their assertions that hybrid cars are more expensive and less safe are unfounded.
